The world's biggest triathlon event for long distance, the DATEV Challenge Roth, makes history again. The brand "Challenge" celebrates its 15th anniversary with current triathlon world champion Jan Frodeno as well as more than 5,300 athletes from 72 countries and more than 260,000 visitors. The athletes especially appreciate fast tracks: 3,8 km of swimming, 180 km of bike ride and 42 km of marathon run. The internationally known racing biker Tyler Butterfield (Bermuda), reigning ITU world champions Cyril Viennot (France) and Meredith Kesseler (USA), previous year's winners Nils Frommhold (Germany) and Yvonne van Vlerken (Netherlands) - they all share highly ambitioned aims: outperforming their best time, surpassing world record times like Olympic Champion Jan Frodeno intends, or simply being a worthy representative for their country.
