Nelson Mandela: South Africa’s icon! On the occasion of his birthday we visited the peace activist and Nobel laureate in his home village Qunu. Even though he has just celebrated his 94th birthday, he is still very committed to justice and the improvement of South Africa’s educational system and he has also passed this attitude on to his grandson Mbuso Mandela, who was the one to inform a charity foundation about the grievances in Qunu’s "No-Moscow Primary School". The result is a unique renovation project with the aim of a modern and enlarged building. The project receives very prominent support: Former US president Bill Clinton came to open the library container.
